Quarterly OASIS Update - Teleconference Series
Ongoing teleconference series, scheduled to coincide precisely with each quarterly release of new OASIS Q&A's by CMS.
Participation supports individual and agency awareness and compliance with the latest critical guidelines and CMS expectations related to OASIS data collection.

WHAT INFORMATION IS COVERED?
Each teleconference will cover new OASIS data collection guidance contained in the latest OASIS Q&A release, as well as other documents, resources and data set changes from the previous quarter. Unique application-based scenarios will be presented and reviewed to demonstrate and reinforce guidance changes. Time will be allotted on each call for participant Q&A.
HOW WILL THESE SESSIONS DIFFER FROM OTHER OASIS TELECONFERENCES?
This teleconference takes a distinctively unique approach to OASIS education. All teaching materials and content will be CMS-resource based and sourced. Use of CMS documents will be demonstrated during the session, and participants will be guided to utilize the CMS-source documents to find answers to their future OASIS related questions. When applicable, presenters will explain how the new guidance changes differ from what experienced data collectors might be used to, with explanations regarding the rationale for guidance refinements.
